About
Corey Katz is a visual artist based out of Sydney, Nova Scotia.
Since 2010, Corey has worked as a freelance photographer specializing in commercial and editorial photography. His work has been published in regional, national and international newspapers and magazines and used in various promotional campaigns for clients such as The Globe & Mail, Maclean’s, Forbes, CBC & Parks Canada.
In recent years, Corey has started to explore filmmaking and sound art with his first experimental film and sound piece “Conclusion: Disease Stable” spotlighting at the Lumière Art Festival in 2023 and his latest short film “Here Lies Daniel” set to be released in Nov 2024.
