Corey Katz is a self-taught photographer from New Waterford, Nova Scotia.

Recipient of the Sydney & Area Chamber of Commerce’s Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2013. Corey was one of only twenty-four visual artists from across the province to have work purchased by the Nova Scotia Art Bank in 2010. Corey’s work has been displayed at exhibitions across Nova Scotia, including Cape Breton University, the Cape Breton Centre for Craft and Design, and the Nocturne Arts Festival. He has worked as an Official Photographer for Celtic Colours International Festival for five years and is a Professional Craft Producer with the Cape Breton Centre for Craft and Design. In 2015, Corey was a recipient of a Vital Excellence Award from the Cape Breton Partnership.

Corey has had his work published in regional, national and international newspapers and magazines and used in various promotional campaigns.
